Worth, Texas he got his first guitar,some Sears model.A close friend down the street had a 1967 Fender Mustang .Paul would manage to squeeze two songs out of him on a weekly basis until the songs ran out.At the age of fifteen he was sneaking into a local lounge to play his guitar and sing on open mic night every Sunday."I got in with a fake I.D. and a little mascara on my mustache to look of age,I'd play songs like Rock' N' Roll Hoochie Koo and Honkey Tonk Women" said Paul. Paul said. He left Split Second three years later which began a career of creating and playing in other bands.Some of those bands included :The BlueGenes,The Heartstrings,No Dogs Allowed,Tight Fit,No Exit,Gangsterfish,Paul Humphreys& The Southwest Rebels,and finally The Paul Humphreys Band.
